Dave Rawlings, the guitarist, producer, singer, and songwriter best known for his work with Gillian Welch and Old Crow Medicine Show, started the Dave Rawlings Machine in 2009 prior to releasing their first album “A Friend of a Friend”. Joined by Gillian Welch and John Paul Jones, the Dave Rawlings Machine performs the Led Zeppelin classic “Going to California”.
