David Mayfield Parade: 
What Do You Call It

David Mayfield was the “other” voice and lead guitarist, as well as a contributing songwriter, for folk rock favorites Cadillac Sky, but his role as a member of the Texas-by-way-of-Nashville quintet was just one of the many musical paths this accomplished artist has journeyed. Plain and simply put, David Mayfield is a force of nature on stage. His energy and enthusiasm for performing music are evident at every show whether it’s with Cadillac Sky, The Avett Brothers, Jessica Lea Mayfield, and now his own band, The David Mayfield Parade.

During our Shower Sessions on New Year’s Eve at the Asheville Civic Center , Truth & Salvage Co. perform “Pure Mountain Angel” — the final track on their self titled debut album –which when played at the close of their show has been known to elicit standing ovations. “It is our stand, our take on life… it tells the tales of all six of us and reminds us that, though we are blessed with fortune, this life is as serious as a heart attack,” explains singer Walker of this sincere song.

During our Shower Sessions on New Year’s Eve at the Asheville Civic Center, Truth and Salvage Co. perform the epic bohemian rocker “Jump The Ship” off their debut studio album produced by Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes. The self-titled 12 song collection is centered on the band’s soaring four-part harmonies and Americana rock ethos.
